Hello Maplers!

It's been a while.

We understand that many of you have been disappointed over the lack of updates over at our SEA database, but unfortunately, most of us here at Hidden Street have been inundated by real-life work commitments as well as trying to maintain our Global database. As a result, we have not been able to keep up with the new slew of updates for SEA.

All's not entirely lost however. Our Global database is still being maintained quite regularly, and SEA has recently evolved to become very similar to the Global version of the game we've all come to love.

We would advise MapleSEA players to refer to our Global database from now onwards till we resolve our lack of resources. We believe there are only minor differences, such as in names, but that should not detract the accuracy of the information contained within our Global database.

MapleStory has always been evolving with major content that injects freshness and much excitement with the changes and new features it introduces - who can forget the Big Bang patch that nearly rewrote every aspect of the game from the ground up, the Chaos patch that brought more skill changes, and now the Ascension?

It's time for Hidden Street to ascend to greater heights too - and we're happy and excited to announce that we'll be revamping and redesigning the site from the ground up as well - in short, it's a little Big Bang from us, for you.

Due to the huge amount of time and effort that this would involve - a major undertaking on our part - we do not have a timeline of when this redesign will be completed. However, for every phase of this revamp, we will consult the players in our forum for their input.

To kick this off, it's time that we have a brand new logo for our rebirth as well! We invite you to unleash the talented designer within yourselves - attractive prizes await you to be won!

The Big Bang patch has brought massive amount of changes to the game, and we are working on updating the database as fast as our limited manpower can allow. For EMS players (and perhaps players from other MapleStory regions) who have found our database to be relevant to their needs, an archive of our pre-Big Bang (GMS) database was created for your needs. It is in a separate subdomain at: Before Big Bang (BBB) . We hope you'll find it useful.

Due to the big bang patch, all monster drops have been changed. As such, we need help gathering information about the new drops. Please take note of the monster drops and mesos and let us know in this thread. Any quest or map information is also appreciated, please let us know by creating a topic in the Feedback & Suggestions board or by using the 'Contact Us' form.

Kindly note that Hidden Street is a not-for-profit fansite set up for the sole purpose of providing cohesive and comprehensive information to MapleStory gamers. We've now added the Dual Raid PQ to the database. Sorry for it being long overdue!

We'd like to apologise for any slowdown the server is experiencing to date due to an unprecedented amount of visitors that we're receiving. We're currently looking into the issue and hope to resolve the problem within the next 24-48 hours.

In the meantime, we've disabled certain features like our Search function (and replaced it with Google's) and mouse hovering info to help us lighten the load a little.

We apologise for the downtime for the past full day, as our server has been under a suspected DDOS attack. Although the server is currently more stable now, we'll still be monitoring it and hopefully that's the last of the attack for the time being.

We are pleased to announce that the latest patch has been added into our database. If you have any information on quests and drops (e.g. katara drops) that is not available in our site, please let us know through the Feedback and Suggestions section of the forums.

We would also like to take this opportunity to remind visitors that Hidden-Street Staff do NOT work for AsiaSoft or Nexon, and we CANNOT solve any game related problems (e.g. login errors). Players are reminded NOT to spam the 'Contact Us' form with such complains. Kindly use iBox or the Live Chat feature on AsiaSoft passport site instead.
