Image viewing problems in HS.SEA and false positives from Kaspersky
It has come to our attention that there are two separate issues currently affecting some of our visitors.
1) Some of our visitors, most of them from our HS.SEA section, appear to have problems viewing images in our website. We suggest that you try clearing your cache and cookies, and try visiting the site again. Should this problem still persist, shoot us an e-mail at hiddenstreet [at] gmail [dot] com.
2) We have also been told that virus appears to be detected in our Google Adsense ads (to Kaspersky users especially), but a quick investigation reveals that this is a false positive, which is a problem with Kaspersky alone. Please refer to this link for further info.

Forum registration problem now fixed
If you have previously tried to register in our forum and a blank page appeared after submitting the form, this problem should now be fixed. Try registering again and let us know if other problems still persist.

Guides section ported!
In a great concerted effort to improve Hidden Street, after giving our forum a new makeover and upgrade, we have decided to integrate the old Guides section into its very own Guides board.
You can read more about its changes here. But part of the main motivation to initiate this change is the restrictive "79 characters per line" rule, and the fact that images cannot be used.
We welcome any comments, constructive criticisms, or suggestions with regards to this change.

Feedback platform moved!
Our previous trial of a few months of our Feedback platform has been relatively lukewarm, so we've decided to abolish it completely and move it to the Feedback & Suggestions board of our forum. This will ensure that you'll get the fastest response possible from our Administrators, Moderators, Database Moderators, and other users - at least, whenever our busy schedules do not tie us down.
If you do not have an account in our forum, do sign up for one - it will take you less than 2 minutes. Also, if you do not receive any verification e-mail when signing up, do send us an e-mail about it at contact [at] hidden-street [dot] net.
While we prefer database corrections/updates/feedback via the Feedback & Suggestions board, this does not mean that we're excluding feedback from e-mails. Mushroom Castle monster drops help needed
With the new 0.87 patch, Mushroom Castle has officially been released! To assist us in updating the database, if you will be fighting the monsters at Mushroom Castle, do make a note of the items dropped by the monsters and report to us by commenting on this news item. Our Database Moderators will update the database accordingly at the soonest.

Neo Tokyo added to the database
Greetings Maplers,
We have finally finished adding all Neo Tokyo-related items/maps/quests/NPCs/monsters to the database. If you have noticed any mistakes we have made or there are improvements that can be done (perhaps to the quests), let us know through the Feedback button on the right.

Server downtime expected in the next coming days
Hello Maplers,
We apologise again for the massive downtime experienced as of late as the server has been choking under massive load. We're currently working on re-configuring the server for a more permanent solution, thus while we're working on that, another downtime lasting about a few hours is to be expected within the next few days. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Fingers crossed that it'll be our final downtime for a very long time.
Neo Tokyo maps help needed
We currently need help to assist us in the addition of the Neo Tokyo maps to our database. If you could help us by sending us screenshots of the maps concerned (the name of the mini-map should be enabled at the mini-map window) and inform us which portals lead to which maps, that would help us greatly. Do e-mail us at contact [at] hidden-street [dot] net.
We'll be updating this news item as players update us with information so that there won't be an overlap of the submission of info.

Welcome to the new HS.MapleSEA database!
We'd like to warmly welcome you to our new HS.MapleSEA database!
Please do note that we're still in the middle of updating a few sections of the database, and as such, there may be missing info. But do not hesitate to contact us (preferably via the Feedback button on the right) with relevant information pertaining to incorrect item/monster names, missing info, and any other corrections or feedback that would assist us in updating the database.
As of now, we are still in the midst of transferring Shanghai and Thailand content to this database, and we're also currently working on Rien/Aran and Neo Tokyo. Should you need to access our old MapleSEA database at anytime, you may do so here.
We are currently still looking for more players to fill in the position as a Database Moderator - if you're interested to help us out and fulfill our requirements (fairly proficient in English, and understand basic HTML), send us an application to apply [at] hidden-street [dot] net. As a note, we tend to prefer our Database Moderators to be reasonably mature, so if your application to us is anything similar to "plz let me be db mod", your chances will diminish somewhat.
